This page includes a brief history of my work experience.
Sonos, Inc.
Boston, Massachusetts
June 2024 to August 2024
Position: Software Development Engineer Intern
Description: As a software engineer intern I designed and implemented a robust logging application to track Sonos Control API messages between devices and the cloud using C++ in Linux. I developed a tool that paired with the logging application leads to faster bug reproducibility and triage. This improves the developer experience in fixing issues related to a new app rollout, leading to quicker resolution of customer-facing problems. I also worked on 15 stories to modify software communication protocols for real-time music and user interaction.
Raytheon
Tewksbury, Massachusetts
July 2021 to February 2024
Position: Digital Signal Processing Software Engineer
Description: I was a digital signal processing software engineer for the Radar Software Product Line. I was considered a subject matter expert on my team. I primarily worked in C++, Python and MATLAB. I focused on general debugging and software maintenance, refactoring efforts for existing code, implementing new algorithms for signal processing, networking and server configuration, updates of the signal processing architecture, and front-end and back-end software solutions for various radar systems.
Honors:
Earned Achievement Award for work at Raytheon in the Radar Software Product Line Department. This award was given for significant contribution to digital signal processing technology as a result of technical ownership and excellence.

Textron Systems
Wilmington, Massachusetts
June 2020 to August 2020
Position: Embedded Software Engineer Intern
Description: I was an embedded systems Software Engineer Intern. I designed and created the software system for a prototype of a land mine used to train our customer. The system used signal processing techniques to analyze live signals and inputs to determine if the mine should be armed or inactive. I designed the system in C++ that used an embedded, real-time operating system. I partnered with two electrical engineers to design the physical prototype. In addition to my work on the prototype, I assisted in testing and validating various radar systems.
National Park Service
Gettysburg, Pennsylvania
May 2019 to August 2019
Position: Data Systems Analyst Intern
Description: I interned for a second summer with the National Park Service as a Data Systems Analyst Intern. This was an Ameri-Corps funded position. I was tasked with updating the asset database at Gettysburg National Military Park and Eisenhower National Historic Site in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, focusing primarily on the latter. I worked with the IBM Maximo API to restructure and validate the database that stored data of park buildings, monuments, cannons, and other assets. In addition to my work on the database, I assisted with IT support for the park.
